He fixed my life
Fought everyman’s battle, I was ruthless to the core
A tongue full of obscenities, never satisfied always wanting more
I never gave nothing without expecting a return
Deeper in sin, backslider, knowing surely I would burn
Life caving in on me the Hound of heaven at the door
One Good Friday went to see “The Passion of the Christ” in 2004
Then Easter Sunday I repented, confessed Him before men.
Baptized in the Spirit my new journey had just began
He fixed my life, like He fixed that piece of steel
Right before my eyes He made sure I knew He was real
Revealed Himself to me like His Word says
He fixed my life, now that old man in me is dead
It took acts of obedience to empower me to stand firm
I resisted the devil, casing things down, confessing His Word
Took every thought captive and imagination into obedience to Christ
Became born-again, Jesus fixed my life
I experience the fear of God, felt the wages of my sin
Like Paul said I ran the race determined in Christ I could win
One day at work I made a bad cut in a piece of steel
Then stood in awe, as He fixed the hole my finger once did feel
He fixed my life, like He fixed that piece of steel
Right before my eyes He made sure I knew He was real
Revealed Himself to me like His Word says
He fixed my life, now that old man in me is dead
They overcome the evil one, by the Blood of the Lamb
By the word of their testimony they love not their life unto the end
If you don’t Jesus its God’s will that you do
He fixed my life; He can do the same for you
He fixed my life, like He fixed that piece of steel
Right before my eyes He made sure I knew He was real
Revealed Himself to me like His Word says
He fixed my life, now that old man in me is dead
Yes, He fixed my life, now that old man in me is dead
Thank You Jesus

Luk 10:22 All things are delivered to me of my Father: and no man knoweth who the Son is, but the Father; and who the Father is, but the Son, and he to whom the Son will reveal him.
Mat 6:33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you

The kinda guy I'm
Well, if I'm your weakness
What are you to me?
You like being my heartache, my only misery
Its a case of blind justice, like where the river bends
You gotta hold of my heart, like the wages of sin
Yet I take the road less traveled
for a Hoochie-Coochie Man
I put on my disguise when I'm caught by your eyes
That's the kinda guy I'm
Ya got the kind of body, makes a man lose control
Like milk & honey, ya trade for your soul
There's a price to pay, for every granted wish
And I face the gates of hell every time I deal with this
:Chorus:
Again, I take the road less traveled
for a Hoochie-Coochie man
Yea, I put on my disguise when I'm caught by your eyes
That's the kinda guy I'm
:Bridge:
I guess I'll always love you
Forever cursed, I'll always be your fool
:Chorus:
Yet I take the road less traveled
for a Hoochie-Coochie man
Yea, I put on my disguise when I'm caught by your eyes
That's the kinda guy I'm
Yeah, again I take the road less traveled
For a Hoochie-Coochie man
Yeah, I put on my disguise when I'm caught by your eyes
that's the kinda guy I'm
Yeah, I put on my disguise when I'm caught by your eyes

Don't you think its time we said goodbye
Brent Evans - 4th Street Studio
Don't you think its time we said goodbye
I don't need you bring'n me down
You've already done that, a time or two
Really don't want you hang'n round
The feeling of your presence just makes me blue
Seeds we've sown have been trampled to the ground
Promised dreams that turned out untrue
Listen'd to words that I can't make out the sounds
Accoustical illusions from you
You've already done that, a time or two
Really don't want you hang'n round
The feeling of your presence just makes me blue
Seeds we've sown have been trampled to the ground
Promised dreams that turned out untrue
Listen'd to words that I can't make out the sounds
Accoustical illusions from you
~
Woe, oh, ohhh
Don't you think its time we said goodbye
Don't you think its time we said goodbye
We owe it to ourselves, not to live a lie
Woe, oh, oh
We've tore it all down, so why even try?
Woe, oh, oh
Don't you think its time we said goodbye
~
I've heard tales of ren'dez-vous at night
Your love's been twisted, I'd ensue
There's no chance for you to make it right
I see no reason to continue
Constant battles, abuse and we fight
The conclusion is way, over due
Thought I'd hold on but that was your oversight
This dissolution is something we should pursue
~
Woe, oh, ohh
Don't you think its time we said goodbye
We owe it to ourselves, not to live a lie
Woe, oh, oh
We've tore it all down, so why even try?
Woe, oh, oh
Don't you think its time we said goodbye
~
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeahhh
Don't you think its time we said goodbye
Woe, oh, ohh
Don't you think its time we said goodbye
Yeah, yeah, yeahhh
Don't you think its time we said goodbye

New slide video's on YouTube
The last few days I have finished 2 videos on YouTube of 2 original songs.
The first one "Talk to the hand"
Was wrote with that line as the hook phase along with a story line I knew to much about. Arguing and bad relationship communication skills. LOL.
The next one, since we are on the eve of Valentines Day here in February.
I did a video of this love song I wrote in 1996.
I remember I had not really wrote a true love song as of then.
So I drove into this one.
After putting somethings of my experiences of the intensities of it all.
When love, is right at its first moments of the development of the relationship.
I maintained the focus of its power and changing effect it has on someone.
For the one they are hoping will let it grow.
I changed my singing style some and made it tense but at the same time rewarding in the melody and music line of it.
I had to kind of get into a Joe Crocker state of mind, to pull it off.
Next is a cover song from the band "Blue Sage" in 1998.
That I had recorded when we at 5 members.
I find it hard to present some of the songs I either sung or wrote.
Because of what they sometimes say in them.
I in no way feel that way in what the present, they are believable.
But in reality they testify where I was, and struggle inside me.
The lyric's to "Your magic's work'n on me" can seen on this blog.
These can be seen on the side bar YouTube on this page. Enjoy!

The Launching Pad

You had interest in me, I never had
You believed in me, said I wasn’t half bad
But I drove, you away, yeah that made me sad
You believed in me, said I wasn’t half bad
But I drove, you away, yeah that made me sad
To lose your love,
Cause I was on the launch’n pad
Cause I was on the launch’n pad
Cause I was on the launch’n pad
Cause I was on the launch’n pad
I had a few dollars, I leased my soul
I wondered off, to places unknown
I thrived, in jealousy, completely outta control
I wondered off, to places unknown
I thrived, in jealousy, completely outta control
To lose your love,
For ever I must pay for the seeds I sown
For ever I must pay for the seeds I sown
For ever I must pay for the seeds I sown
For ever I must pay for the seeds I sown
I’m still standing, on the launching pad
Going over all the good times, that we had
I guess, it was me, all along, that made you mad
Going over all the good times, that we had
I guess, it was me, all along, that made you mad
To lose your love,
Cause I was on the launch’n pad
While I was on the launch’n pad
Cause I was on the launch’n pad
While I was on the launch’n pad
Cause I was on the launch’n pad
While I was on the launch’n pad
Cause I was on the launch’n pad
While I was on the launch’n pad
